Looking for flatmate in 2 bedroom apartment situated in central Fremantle 2 minutes walk from the train station and just next to the famous European-like 'cappucino strip' and the Fremantle Markets. Beautiful view of Rottnest & Garden Island, central Freo and town hall from the balcony. It's the tallest building in central Fremantle and is close to Target which is one of the main bus stations (across the road basically) second only to the buses in front of the train station itself. It is a LARGE furnished bedroom. I spend the academic year teaching overseas. At the moment a Japanese student has the smaller $80.00 room which is with a single bed. The large bedroom has the same sea/city views of the balcony from the window, no noise and more than enough room for a large desk (although there is not one there at present); there is however a double bed, television, 3 chests of drawers, in built cupboards, chairs and fans. The central communal area is also shared, and the Japanese girl is very pleasant and easy to live with (she loves cleaning up!). I would prefer a non-smoker (not-essential), but then again you can always smoke on the balcony as the occasional visitor does. During the Summer the sun goes down in front of the balcony and it's very pleasant to sit there for breakfast or dinner for two. With the large room also comes the possibility for secure parking for one vehicle of you and/or your partners behind locked doors driven with remote control. It costs, however, a little extra so only take it if you're sure someone will be using it regularly.
