| Q. |
What is Property Seeker Profile and what do I need it for?
|
| A. |
Property Seeker Profile is a powerful tool that assists you in finding the property you are
looking for. Traditionally it is you, the Property Seeker, who had to do all the "leg work",
you had to repeat your requirements again and again to different Estate Agents and you had
no way of reaching the Property Owners directly.
YourEstate.com.au are offering you a conceptually new service - let the Property Owners and
Real Estate Agents find you, with all your requirements saved in our database, they can either
perform a manual search or better still, match their property listing with Property Seekers'
Profiles. Our system allows you to be very precise in specifying what you want, so for example
nobody should be offering you a one bedroom flat if you are looking for a three bedroom family
home and visa versa.
You can also set up an e-mail alert at the frequency you want i.e. daily, weekly, fortnightly
and monthly - you will be receiving e-mails with property listings matching your Property
Seeker's Profile.
Have a look at the
Property Seekers' Service description
for detailed information.

| Q. |
How can I add my property to the "Featured Properties" on index page?
|
| A. |
Make your property seen by thousands of potential buyers / tenants by putting it in the "Featured Properties" section on our index page!
The index page at YourEstate.com.au is getting approximately 50% of all the site traffic and is indexed by the major Internet Search Engines including Yahoo!, Ninemsn, Google, Looksmart, AOL, Alltheweb and many others.
Your property will also appear in the Real Estate section at Australian free classifieds freeAd.com.au
Another advantage of a Featured Listing is: featured property listings are always displayed at the top of the search results (on the property search page).
The prices are as follows (all prices are in Australian dollars):
| 30 days |
$38.00 AUD |
| 60 days |
$56.00 AUD |
| 90 days |
$77.00 AUD |
Please have a look at our Advertising Packages and Prices page for more information or contact us if you have any questions.
Note: "Featured Properties" listings are displayed in chronological order - the latest listings appear at the top
and older listings at the bottom.
The fees listed above are not refundable, for example: if you listed your property for 30 days and sold it in 2 days we
do not refund the fees you paid for inclusion in "Featured Properties".
You can upgrade your property listing to either Standard Listing or Featured Listing by clicking on the property management page.

Tips & Tricks |
| Q. |
How can I increase the exposure of my property listing?
|
| A. |
Did you know that you can create more than one listing for the same property? This does not always
apply, however, in some cases you can.
For example: the property you are trying to sell is a residential house but it also has an office,
therefore you can advertise it in two categories - Residential Sales and Commercial Sales. Another
example would be if you are trying to rent out your property for a long term (as a Residential Rental)
but you also want to lease it as a holiday house if the opportunity presents itself, in this case
you could put it in two categories - Residential Rentals and Holiday Rentals.
You could upgrade one of those listings to a Featured Listing and upgrade the other one to
Standard Listing (you cannot have two Featured Listings for the same property). That would
give your property greater exposure and would increase your chances of finding a buyer / tenant
quicker than if you had your listing in only one category.
Another thing that we highly recommend is uploading images of your property. The listings with
pictures get much better response rate than the ones without pictures. You will be able to
upload images once you've upgraded your property to Standard Listing or higher.
Please see our Advertising Packages and Prices for the available options.
